Services include assertive community treatment, <br />rehabilitation treatment, service coordination, adult services, medication <br />clinic, skills training, employment, and supportive housing. <br />Gulf Coast Council of La Raza <br />Gulf Coast Council of La Raza provides transitional, day shelter, and night <br />shelter for families, children, unaccompanied youth, and persons with <br />substance abuse problems. The organization has a capacity of 16 beds. <br />La Raza Runaway Shelter <br />La Raza Runaway Shelter offers temporary, day shelter, and night shelter <br />services, <br />Nueces County Community Action Agency <br />Nueces County Community Action Agency manages Head Start and Early <br />Head Start Programs. The Head Start Program is designed to foster the <br />healthy development of three, four, and five year-old children from low- <br />income families. Early Head Start is a developmentally appropriate <br />program that has culturally sensitive services for infantsltoddlers and their <br />families, Community services encompasses several other programs which <br />include Weatherization, Energy Assistance, Emergency Footl and Shelter, <br />HOME Rental Housing, Homebuyers Assistance, Information and <br />Referral, and Neighbor-to-Neighbor. <br />41 <br />
