Coastal Bend Alcohol & Drug Rehabilitation Center <br />Coastal Bend Alcohol & Drug Rehabilitation Center organizes various <br />programs for children, youth, and substance abusers. The programs <br />include adult participatory recreation. <br />Accessible Communities, Inc., Coastal Bend Center for Independent <br />Living <br />ACI-CECIL has been relocating people from nursing homes to the <br />communities since 1999. The organization assists the persons with <br />disabilities in Coastal Bend offering the following services: access <br />information and referral advocacy, independent living skills training, peer <br />counseling, accessible housing resources, CLASS program case <br />management ,mobility planning services, Resource Guide for Persons <br />with Disabilities of All Ages, Advocacy Development Training classes, and <br />community education and technical assistance. <br />Corpus Christi Metro Ministries <br />Corpus Christi Metro Ministries offers both shelter and transitional housing <br />for women or survivors of domestic violence, mentally ill, veterans, elderly, <br />families children, adults, antl parolees / ex-convicts. Guided transitional <br />shelter is provided for these same populations for free. Other services <br />include meals, case management, clothing, job placement, medical clinic, <br />childcare, and neighborhood elementary school. <br />Nueces County MHMR <br />Nueces County MHMR provides facilities for children ages birth to three <br />years with developmental disabilities, youth, ages 3-17, with severe <br />40 <br />
