Identification of Broad Factors of Homelessness <br />From each work group a summary report would be produced which would directly <br />address the issues relevant to each significant issue related to homelessness in the <br />community. For example, the factors the work groups identify may include inadequate <br />service capacity or may point out some public policies that may impede the reasonable <br />development of services. These reports would also include actions proposed by each <br />work group pertaining to each work area. <br />8. Action Plan and Recommendations <br />A draft and final report would be developed which includes the process summary, reports <br />from work groups, and seven sections that result from the research input, as described in <br />the Research Input section. Goals, strategies, and actions including the source of funding <br />and timelines, would be provided for the following Strategy .Areas: <br />• Prevention Strategies <br />• Outreach/Intake/Assessment Strategies <br />• Emergency Shelter Strategies <br />• Transitional Housing Strategies <br />• Permanent Supportive Housing Strategies <br />• Supportive Services Strategies <br />• Permanent Affordable Housing Strategies <br />• Continuum of Care Systems Strategies <br />9. Development of a Marketing and Implementation Strategy <br />Based on the Action Plan recommendations, aMarketing and Implementation Strategy <br />would be created addressing threats and opportunities in meeting the goals listed in the <br />Action Plan..l-QUAD would act as the point of contact to coordinate various <br />development activities. The implementation strategy would outline the outreach activities, <br />Recommendations will be made in the areas of operations, marketing and advertising, <br />staffing and training, and budgeting. <br />12 <br />
