Revised 01/24 <br />1 <br /> [Departmental Use Only] <br /> TITLE Seymour_Roof <br /> FY 2025-2026 <br />NORTH CAROLINA <br /> SERVICES AGREEMENT NO RFP/RFQ <br /> <br />ORANGE COUNTY <br /> <br /> This Services Agreement (hereinafter “Agreement”), made and entered into this 1st day of <br />June, 2026, (“Effective Date”) by and between Orange County, North Carolina a political <br />subdivision of the State of North Carolina (hereinafter, the "County") and BIRS, Inc., <br />(hereinafter, the "Provider"). <br /> <br />WITNESSETH: <br /> <br /> That the County and Provider, for the consideration herein named, do hereby agree as <br />follows: <br /> <br />1. Services <br /> <br />a. Scope of Work. <br /> <br />i) This Agreement is for services to be rendered by Provider to County with respect <br />to (insert type of project): Robert & Pearl Seymour Center-2551 Homestead <br />Road, Chapel Hill, NC- Roof Repair. •Remove existing metal coping in repair <br />area only (65 lf)•Cut membrane at the cant on the parapet wall (65 If)•Pull <br />membrane tight and install termination bar on the cant of the parapet wall•Pull <br />membrane down from coping over the base termination bar and install a second <br />run of termination bar•Mechanically fasten a vertical row of plates and fasteners <br />every 10 If in repair area only ( 65 If)•Strip in TPO target patch horizontally over <br />exposed termination bar•Strip in TPO target patch vertically over exposed HD <br />seam plates and fasteners•Re-install existing metal coping •Install additional <br />fasteners along the coping to prevent TPO from future bridging. Please see <br />attached quote dated 5/22/26. <br /> <br />ii) By executing this Agreement, the Provider represents and agrees that Provider is <br />qualified to perform and fully capable of performing and providing the services <br />required or necessary under this Agreement in a fully competent, professional and <br />timely manner. <br /> <br />iii) Time is of the essence with respect to this Agreement. <br /> <br />iv) The services to be performed under this Agreement consist of Basic Services, as <br />described and designated in Section 3 hereof. Compensation to the Provider for <br />Basic Services under this Agreement shall be as set forth herein. <br /> <br />2.
