JCPC supports prevention and intervention <br /> programs that are making a difference for young people and their communities. Programs are typically focused on youth with <br /> behavioral issues and/ or involved in the court system. Responsibilities of the JCPC include: 1 , Review the needs of juveniles <br /> in the County, who are at risk of delinquency or who have been adjudicated as undisciplined or delinquent; 2 , Review the <br /> resources available to address those needs; 3 . Prioritize community risk factors ; 4 . Increase public awareness of the causes of <br /> delinquency and strategies to reduce the problems; 5 . Develop strategies to intervene, respond to, and treat the needs of <br /> I at risk of delinquency; 6 .
