That work has involved <br /> environmental permitting, land use review, stakeholder engagement, and coordination with local <br /> governments and regulatory agencies. <br /> Through my experience, I have developed a strong appreciation for balancing environmental <br /> stewardship with responsible growth and infrastructure development. I have also worked through <br /> public processes involving environmental impacts, sustainability considerations, and long-term <br /> planning objectives. <br /> In addition, my prior service as Vice Chair of the Orange County Planning Board provided <br /> experience evaluating development issues that often intersect with environmental priorities and <br /> community concerns. <br /> Please explain your reasons for wanting to serve on this board <br /> I am interested in serving because I care about preserving the quality of life and natural <br /> resources that make Orange County unique. As the County continues to grow, I believe it is <br /> important to approach environmental issues thoughtfully and pragmatically while still supporting <br /> responsible development and economic opportunity. <br /> My professional experience in renewable energy has reinforced the importance of long-term <br /> sustainability and careful planning, and I would welcome the opportunity to contribute those <br /> perspectives in a meaningful way through public service. <br /> How would your particpation on this board contribute to the diversity of viewpoints? <br /> I believe I would bring a practical and balanced perspective shaped by both my local background <br /> and my professional experience in the renewable energy industry. I grew up in Orange County <br /> but also spent several years living and working outside the area before returning home. <br /> That experience exposed me to different approaches to sustainability, growth management, and <br /> environmental policy. At the same time, I understand the values and priorities of the local <br /> community because this is where I was raised.
