It will <br /> concurrently be sent to the Triangle West Transportation Planning Organization for approval. <br /> FINANCIAL IMPACT: The financial impact of the Transit Tax District will be $15.53 million, $9.49 <br /> million for operating and $6.04 million for capital, and a fund balance reduction of $2.259 million. <br /> Orange County receives quarterly reimbursements from GoTriangle for all Orange County specific <br /> projects approved in the AWP. <br /> ALIGNMENT WITH STRATEGIC PLAN: This item supports: <br /> • GOAL 4: MULTI-MODAL TRANSPORTATION <br /> OBJECTIVE 1. Identify priorities and resources necessary to implement the Orange <br /> County Transit Plan. <br /> OBJECTIVE 2. Increase community awareness of all modes of transportation including <br /> transit, bike and pedestrian, vehicle, and all other modes. <br /> OBJECTIVE 3. Support road projects that address congestion and reduce commute time <br /> using the County's Complete Streets policy. <br />
