This has given me a strong connection to and appreciation for <br /> the values and priorities of our rural community. <br /> At the same time, incubating a tech start-up in a growing urban center has made me acutely <br /> aware of the pressures driving development across our region. Experiencing both environments <br /> has shaped how I think about how we grow thoughtfully without losing what makes Orange <br /> County unique. <br /> As a younger resident, I've also seen firsthand how unaffordable homeownership has become <br /> in our County for many of my friends and employees.
