Leiha shared a <br /> presentation about Year 4 <br /> accomplishments, developing the <br /> next MAP, and outreach logistics <br /> for the MAP survey. <br /> 8a. Community Engagement Survey <br /> Distribution <br /> 9.Third Quarter Workgroup Reports <br /> will be given at June meeting <br /> 3. New Business 10. FY 26-27 Budget Updates. Invite two board Janice 6/9/26 <br /> Janice shared the proposed budget applicants to next Tyler <br /> reductions for our Department meeting <br /> based on the county manager's <br /> proposed budget with 3.75 tax rate <br /> increase. She shared that one of <br /> the reductions is reassigning one of <br /> our joint Aging/DSS Social Workers <br /> to go to DSS.Another reduction is <br /> eliminating the Evening/Weekend <br /> Facility Manager Position,with the <br /> proposed solution being`flexing' <br /> the full-time staff to cover <br /> weeknights and Saturdays.Also <br /> discussed was the increase in <br /> program/class fees to generate <br /> $10,000 in revenue.The group <br /> discussed the difficulties for OC <br /> older adults and Department on <br /> Aging staff that would arise if these <br /> budget cuts, and/or further cuts, <br /> were implemented.The group also <br /> discussed the outside funding that <br /> is part of the Department on <br /> Aging's budget.Janice also shared <br /> the proposed budget cuts for <br /> Department on Aging Page 3 of 6 <br />
