76 <br /> Holy Trinity Anglican Church <br /> Urban Designer Comments 11-12-25 <br /> Submitted by Brian Peterson,AIA, Urban Designer, Town of Chapel Hill <br /> The following comments are in reference to the plan set dated August 271", 2025. <br /> 1. Consider ways to reduce or relocate parking along the west edge of the site, adjacent to where <br /> the existing homes are at the end of Wave Road,to preserve more of the existing trees on the site <br /> edge, or to provide room for more buffering. <br /> 2. Consider, if possible, flipping the locations of the plaza and the church building. That would allow <br /> the plaza to be adjacent to the pond, with the opportunity to integrate the two open spaces. The <br /> front of the church would then view the open spaces rather than parking areas. This would also <br /> allow the plaza to be located at the end of Wave Road, which could offer a generous transition <br /> from the existing neighborhood. <br /> 3. Consider providing informal walking trails around the site to form a walking loop. This loop could <br /> not only be an amenity for the congregation, but also for the neighbors on Wave Road and others <br /> in the area. <br />
