<br />Subject to the lim itations s et forth below, for a period of two years from the date of com pletion of the work des cribed in your contract, the independently owned and operated CertaPro Painters
<br />franchis ed bus ines s identified on your contract (“CertaPro” or the “CertaPro Bus ines s ”) will repair any peeling, blis tering, or chipping paint res ulting from defective workm ans hip.
<br />How to Make a W arranty Claim
<br />In order to m ake a valid warranty claim , you m us t:
<br />Retain a copy of the original contract.
<br />Have proof that you m ade paym ent in full.
<br />Make the property acces s ible to CertaPro to ins pect and perform any warranty work and/or repairs .
<br />Pay for the cos t of all m aterials us ed to perform the repairs .
<br />As s oon as you becom e aware of a potential warranty is s ue, you s hould contact the CertaPro Bus ines s nam ed in your contract to s ubm it a claim and s chedule an ins pection of your property.

<br />Warranty Limitations
<br />This two-year warranty does not cover or include:
<br />Any work where CertaPro Painters did not s upply the paint or other m aterials .
<br />Any work which was not perform ed entirely by CertaPro Painters .
<br />Varnis hed s urfaces .
<br />Surfaces m ade of, or containing, galvanized m etal.
<br />The cos t of m aterials required to perform the repairs .
<br />Repairs to horizontal s urfaces or any s urface that, by virtue of its des ign, perm its m ois ture to collect. Such s urfaces include, but are not lim ited to, decks , railings , s tairs , porches ,
<br />roofs , and gutters .
<br />Exact paint m atch, as environm ental conditions will affect the color and finis h of all paints over tim e.
<br />Any is s ues that are caus ed, in whole or in part, by m anufacturing defects in the paint, s tain, or other products and m aterials us ed, regardles s of whether the products or m aterials
<br />were s upplied by CertaPro Painters or the cus tom er.
<br />Bleeding caus ed by knots , rus t, or cedar.
<br />Cracks in drywall, plas ter, or wood.
<br />Peeling, blis tering, or chipping caus ed by:
<br />m ill-glazing from s m ooth cedar
<br />ordinary wear and tear
<br />abnorm al us e or m is us e
<br />peeling of layers of paint exis ting prior to the work perform ed by CertaPro Painters
<br />des ign, s tructural, or other latent defects
<br />s ettling or m ovem ent
