3 <br /> • MISSION STATEMENT — Orange County is a visionary leader in providing governmental <br /> services valued by our community, beyond those required by law, in an equitable, <br /> sustainable, innovative and efficient way. <br /> RECOMMENDATION(S): The Manager recommends that the Board: <br /> 1.) Review the proposal and contract with Samet Corporation for Construction Manager-At- <br /> Risk services for the renovation of the John M. Link, Jr. Government Services Center and <br /> the construction of the Sheriff's Evidence Storage Facility; <br /> 2.) Approve funding for Phase I only at a cost of $193,339 for pre-construction services; and <br /> 3.) Approve and authorize the County Manager to execute the contract, subject to final review <br /> by the County Attorney, and any subsequent amendments for contingent and unforeseen <br /> requirements up to the approved budget amount on behalf of the Board of County <br /> Commissioners. <br />
