<br /> <br />Page 4 of 12 <br /> <br /> <br />Copper to copper joints will be brazed with a copper-phosphorous brazing alloy containing a <br />minimum of 15% silver. <br /> <br />Brady will charge the refrigerant piping system to meet the manufacturer’s specifications. <br /> <br />Electrical <br />Brady will replace existing disconnect, conduit and conductors required for load side electrical <br />service from point of existing disconnect to the new AHU. Disconnect, conduit and conductors <br />will be sized per the NEC and based on the AHU MOP and MCA provided to Brady by the <br />equipment manufacturer. <br /> <br />Brady will reuse existing breaker, conduit and conductors on line side. <br /> <br />Electrical connection to equipment will be made with short lengths of flexible "Liquid - Tite" <br />conduit. <br /> <br />All equipment has been selected for 208 volts, 60 hertz, and 3 phase electrical service. <br /> <br />Brady will provide nameplates for identification of all equipment, motor starters and disconnect <br />switches. <br /> <br />Ductwork <br />Brady will furnish and install all supply ductwork and transitions needed to connect the new <br />AHU to the existing air distribution system. <br /> <br />Brady will furnish and install all return ductwork and transition as needed to connect the new <br />AHU to the existing ducted air return system. <br /> <br />Rectangular supply, return, and outside air ductwork will meet the gauges and construction <br />methods indicated in the current ASHRAE guide and by SMACNA standards for the <br />indicated pressure classification. <br /> <br />Hanger and supports for all ductwork will be metal bands, angles and / or rods per ASHRAE <br />and SMACNA standards. <br /> <br />Insulation <br />Brady will insulate the chilled water supply and return piping with 3/4" armaflex insulation.. <br /> <br />All interior duct work shall be lined with 1" thick, 3 LB density duct liner. <br /> <br />Crane and Rigging <br />Brady will furnish all crane, rigging, and trucking as needed for this project. <br /> <br />Upon receipt of equipment on the job site, Brady will inspect the unit for possible damage <br />during transit. This will include an inspection of unit exterior, all doors, access panels and <br />openings. If damage has occurred it will be immediately reported to the delivering carrier <br />and the damage noted on the receiving copy of the bill of lading. <br /> <br />Controls <br />Brady will furnish and install smoke detector(s), conduit and wiring between the smoke <br />detector(s) and the AHU motor control circuit to interrupt operation upon sensing an alarm <br />condition per code. <br /> <br />Brady to furnish and install a programmable thermostat and low voltage wiring. <br /> <br />Docusign Envelope ID: 6CB9BF4A-D04B-8CE0-8061-F93AFA2D6BF7
