Minutes <br />The Board will consider approval and/or correction of minutes from the following <br />meetings: April 29, 2003-re-adjournment of work session; and April 29, 2003- <br />Assembly of Governments meeting. <br />b. Appointments <br />1. Adult Care Home Community Advisory Committee <br />The Board will consider the reappointment of two members to the Adult Care <br />Home Community Advisory Board. <br />2. Board of Health <br />The Board will consider the reappointment of two members to the Orange <br />County Board of Health <br />3. Joint Orange Chatham Community Action Aaency <br />The Board will consider the reappointment of one member to JOCCA. <br />4. Orange County Board of Adiustment <br />The Board will consider the reappointment of two members to the Orange <br />County Board of Adjustment. <br />5. Solid Waste Advisory Board <br />The Board will consider the reappointment of one member to the Solid Waste <br />Advisory Board. <br />6. Chapel HilllOrange County Visitors Bureau <br />The Board will consider the reappointment of three members to the Chapel <br />Hill/C)range County Visitor's Bureau. <br />7. Workforce Development Board <br />The Board will consider the reappointment of four (4) members to the <br />Workforce Development Board -Regional Partnership. <br />c. Motor Vehicle Property Tax Refunds <br />The Board will consider adoption of a refund resolution related to 66 requests for <br />motor vehicle property tax refunds, requested in accordance with N.C. General <br />Statutes. <br />d. Property Tax Refunds <br />The Board will consider adoption of a refund resolution related to two (2) requests for <br />property tax refunds, in accordance with the N.C. General Statute 105-381. <br />e. Property Tax Release <br />The Board will consider adoption of a resolution to release property values related to <br />two (2} requests for property tax release, in accordance with N.C. General Statute <br />105-381. <br />f. Application for Property Tax Exemption <br />The Board will consider an untimely application for granting exempt status from ad <br />valorem taxation for the 2002 tax year, and will consider that the application for 2002 <br />exemption be denied. <br />g_ County Commissioners' Compensation -Salary Adiustment and Health <br />The Board will consider updating the Board's policy on "Commissioners' Salary <br />Adjustments" to include the same salary increases as those granted employees <br />under the Classification and Pay Study and amending the Board's policy on "County <br />Contribution for Commissioner Benefits" to provide that the County makes the same <br />health insurance contribution for a County Commissioner who leaves office after two <br />terms and continues to participate in the County's health insurance coverage as it <br />does for an employee who retires with 10 years County service; and to direct staff to <br />incorporate the specific amounts in the Budget Ordinance for 2003-2004. <br />
