Our <br /> mission is to protect birds, wildlife, and their local habitats through conservation, <br /> education, advocacy, and outdoor enjoyment, On behalf of our 2000+ members, <br /> and more importantly on behalf of the bird species which nest and raise their <br /> chicks in Blackwood Farm park, we want to express our significant concerns about <br /> the disc golf course planned for the Park. <br /> Although the food Thrush is of particular concern, a number of other forest bird <br /> species use the Alice's Loop area to breed including: <br /> • Ovenbirds - observed juveniles being fed by their parents on the Alice's <br /> Loop trail in 2021 <br /> ■ Louisiana 1 aterthrushes <br /> • Orchard Orioles - observed nesting in the Alice's Loop area in 2021 <br /> • Scarlet Tanagers <br />
