He signaled that the operating budget would <br /> propose reducing the grant program by approximately$62,000 to fund staffing needs in the sustainability <br /> office, leaving approximately$211,000 for climate change grants,growing at the standard 2%annually. He <br /> noted this was being flagged now so it would not come as a surprise when the operating budget is formally <br /> presented. <br />
