Four (4) members shall be appointed by the Durham County Boar' of <br />189 <br />Commissioners which appointments shall include: <br />190 <br />i. One (1) member of the Durham Open Space and Trails Commission, <br />191 <br />ii. One (1) member of EANG, <br />192 <br />iii. One (1) member of the New Hope Creek Advisory Committee, and <br />193 <br />iv. One (1) additional member. <br />194 <br />195 <br />2. Three (3)Four 4 members shall be appointed by the Orange County Board of <br />196 <br />Commissioners which appointments shall include: <br />197 <br />i. Either one (1) member of the Orange County Commission for the <br />198 <br />Environment or one (1) member of the Orange County Recreation and <br />199 <br />Parks Advisory Council, <br />200 <br />ii. One (1) member of TLC, <br />201 <br />iii. One (1) member of FANG, and <br />202 <br />iii— iv. One (1) additional member.. <br />20.3 <br />204 <br />3. Two (2) members shall be appointed by the Chapel Hill Town Council which <br />205 <br />appointments shall include: <br />206 <br />i.. Either one (1) member from the Chapel Hill Greenways Commission, <br />207 <br />or one (1) member of the New Hope Creek Advisory Committee, and <br />208 <br />ii. One (1) additional member. <br />209 <br />210 <br />4. One (1) member shall be appointed by the City of Durham. <br />211 <br />212 <br />Members shall reside within the jurisdiction of the appointing authority. Attempts shall <br />213 <br />also be made to assure that the appointments represent a cross section of the community. <br />214 <br />All members shall have equal rights regardless of'whether the matters at issue are located <br />215 <br />inside or outside the corporate limits. The Committee may recommend to the governing <br />216 <br />bodies individuals for appointment to the Committee upon vacancies. <br />217 <br />218 <br />B. Qualifications. Members shall meet those general qualifications specified by the <br />219 <br />appointing body, which are requirements for all individuals serving on a governmental <br />220 <br />board or commission. <br />221 <br />222 <br />C. Organization and Meetings. The Committee shall elect a Chair and Vice -Chair at <br />223 <br />its first meeting. The Committee may adopt any operating rules to govern its meetings it <br />224 <br />so chooses.
