IN1 Ill N'_ <br /> 3 Frederick Davis highlighted two completed high-priority capital projects: the New Hope <br /> 4 Elementary roof, a $2 million project completed in December 2025, and the Cedar Ridge Agricultural <br /> 5 Learning Lab. He said the latter would wrap up its punch list this month and hoped for a ribbon-cutting <br /> 6 invitation to be sent out toward the end of May. <br /> 7 <br /> 8 Slide#47 <br /> Questions? <br /> �9 ENGAGE. CHALLENGE, INSPIRE. <br /> 10 Chair Hamilton thanked OCS for this presentation. <br /> 11 Commissioner Carter expressed appreciation for the detailed CTE presentation and the focus on <br /> 12 mental health in addressing absenteeism and said she looked forward to updated data in June. She also <br /> 13 appreciated hearing the capital updates. <br /> 14 Commissioner McKee offered congratulations on the achievement data, saying he believed the <br /> 15 academic performance improvements would help alleviate losses to charter schools by changing public <br /> 16 perception. He was glad to hear about the Cedar Ridge Agricultural Learning Lab, and noted he had <br /> 17 received many calls about it. <br /> 18 Commissioner Portie-Ascott congratulated OCS on their student growth metrics.She commended <br /> 19 the eight-point rebound in the graduation rate and the work being done to address chronic absenteeism. <br /> 20 Chair Hamilton invited CHCCS to begin their presentation. <br />
