Currently, <br /> the balance of these funds is approximately $1.2 million. <br /> ALIGNMENT WITH STRATEGIC PLAN: This item supports: <br /> • GOAL 2: HEALTHY COMMUNITY <br /> OBJECTIVE 3. Provide social safety net programming and the resources needed for our <br /> most vulnerable community members. <br /> • GOAL 3: HOUSING FOR ALL <br /> OBJECTIVE 2. Address need and any policy barriers to increase access to emergency <br /> shelter beds and other low-barrier housing, including eviction diversion. <br /> RECOMMENDATION(S): The Manager recommends that the Board: <br /> 1) authorize the Manager to request the allocation of$100,000 from Alliance Health to support <br /> the purchase of the four (4) Phase 1 units at Weaver's Grove for affordable, supportive <br /> I/DD housing; and <br /> 2) Approve and authorize the Manager to sign a Memorandum of Agreement with Alliance <br /> Health memorializing the understanding that Alliance Health will contract with Hope NC to <br /> provide these funds and will ensure the restrictions on affordability and eligibility are <br /> maintained for the existing 30-year Period of Affordability. <br />
