15 <br /> BACKGROUND <br /> • In March 2026, Alliance Health received a request from <br /> Hope NC to provide $ 100,000 in funds to complete <br /> acquisition of 4 new housing units at Weaver's Grove <br /> that will support 8 adults with Intellectual/Developmental <br /> Disabilities (I/DD) <br /> • In April , Alliance Health requested that Orange County <br /> authorize the use of existing Cardinal realignment funds <br /> held by Alliance to support this funding request <br /> • These funds are earmarked for Orange County priorities <br /> and the existing fund balance is approximately $ 1 .2 <br /> million <br /> • The Cardinal fund balance has been discussed for <br /> support of the Crisis Diversion Facility <br /> ORANGE COUNTY <br /> 2 NORTH CAROLINA <br />
