18 Draft
1
2 Leon Meyers: And since we have a little free space here, I'll ask for information. Well, maybe I won't complicate the
3 discussion. Kyle?
4
5 Kyle Myers: Yeah, I did have one comment, which I think the bathroom specifically needs to be added to the
6 exhibit with the list. And then a question, and that is: I heard in the beginning of the testimony that
7 there was a current application or an intended application for bona fide farm status. And if that's the
8 case, would the miscellaneous farm structures not be included because they wouldn't matter at that
9 point.
10
11 Ashley Moncado: Correct, so the applicant has stated to staff that they are looking at pursuing bona fide farm status on
12 that southern parcel, which includes these four farm buildings, greenhouse. What we recommended
13 was them, there was conversation about removing this parcel from the SUP, but recommended to
14 continue on just in case something were to happen or it falls out of farm status in the future. But
15 essentially what would happen is that these parcels no longer have to meet zoning regulations, and
16 they would not have to meet the standards of the SUP.
17
18 Leon Meyers: It seems to me you have to proceed with the assumption that farm status would not happen in order
19 to be safe.
20
21 Cy Stober: Yes, sir.
22
23 Beth Bronson: Not as of today.
24
25 Leon Meyers: Right.
26
27 Ashley Moncado: Correct.
28
29 Cy Stober: Because square footage isn't a problem currently,we just have to have the right number on the chart.
30
31 Leon Meyers: Agreed.
32
33 Kyle Myers: Okay.
34
35 Leon Meyers: Now, you said you would like to see the bathrooms listed separately. Is that right?
36
37 Kyle Myers: No, sir. I just would like to— I don't understand where the bathroom is on the list.
38
39 Leon Meyers: It's not on the list now. The bathroom is in the additional square footage that Mr. Christiansen gave
40 us a few minutes ago.
41
42 Kyle Myers: Okay. As long as it's considered, I can live with that.
43
44 Leon Meyers: Building area, right. All right. Okay?
45
46 Leann Brown: So, I think the structures, from my notes from when Mr. Christiansen was testifying, the bathroom, the
47 open-air pavilions, the theater addition, and the miscellaneous—what?
48
49 Leon Meyers: Farm buildings.
50
18
