RAFTELIS Cost The total fixed fee to complete the County’s Transportation Director search, as well as your Tax Administrator search on an overlapping timeline, is $34,500 per search. We understand that the Tax Administrator recruitment is your priority, and we will start that search first. Should the County choose to engage Raftelis for only your Transportation Director recruitment, the fixed fee to complete this one search is $35,500. These costs reflect all professional fees and expenses for Raftelis to perform the scope of work outlined in this proposal. The fee reflects our firm’s standard practice of conducting all meetings virtually until final interviews, when the Lead Recruiter will be on-site, in-person with the County. Should you wish to include additional in-person meetings in the scope of this search, those adjustments may be discussed with the Lead Recruiter during the search kickoff meeting. Additional in-person meetings will increase this fixed fee by up to $1,500 per trip (one trip includes on-site in-person activities with the Lead Recruiter for a full business day). We estimate the following additional costs to the County per search, which will be invoiced at cost as completed. Advertising Not to exceed $3,000 total. Background checks Not to exceed $500 per background check. Costs incurred directly by the County per search are as follows: Finalists’ interview travel Variable based on the number and geographic location of finalists. These expenses are borne and reimbursed directly to finalists by the County. For each search, the fixed fee will be invoiced at the following milestones. Two searches at a fixed fee of $34,500 per recruitment: Activity 1 – $7,154 After the delivery of the recruitment plan and brochure. Activity 2 – $17,140 After the candidate review meeting and semi-finalist selection. Activity 3 – $10,206 After the final interviews are completed. One search (Transportation Director) at a fixed fee of $35,500: Activity 1 – $7,454 After the delivery of the recruitment plan and brochure. Activity 2 – $17,240 After the candidate review meeting and semi-finalist selection. Activity 3 – $10,806 After the final interviews are completed. Within six months of the final interview process, should an additional candidate be hired by the County from the pool of candidates presented by Raftelis for a search, the additional fee shall be $15,000.
