Orange County Emergency Services -Generator <br />PDC Project 24030 Transfer Switches 26 36 00 - 6 <br />1)Normal source voltage-sensing relay. <br />2)Engine start sequence. <br />3)Time delay upon transfer. <br />4)Alternate source voltage-sensing and frequency sensing relays. <br />5)Automatic transfer operation. <br />6)Time delay and retransfer upon normal power restoration. <br />7)Engine cool down and shutdown feature. <br />C.Provide additional inspection and testing as required for completion of associated engine <br />generator testing as specified in Section 26 32 13. <br />D.Correct defective work,adjust for proper operation,and retest until entire system complies with <br />Contract Documents. <br />E.Submit detailed reports indicating inspection and testing results and corrective actions taken. <br />3.04 CLEANING <br />A.Clean exposed surfaces to remove dirt,paint,or other foreign material and restore to match <br />original factory finish. <br />3.05 CLOSEOUT ACTIVITIES <br />A.Demonstration: Demonstrate proper operation of transfer switches to Owner,and correct <br />deficiencies or make adjustments as directed. <br />B.Training: Train Owner's personnel on operation,adjustment,and maintenance of transfer <br />switches. <br />1.Use operation and maintenance manual as training reference,supplemented with additional <br />training materials as required. <br />2.Provide minimum of two hours of training. <br />a.Training may be performed concurrently with generator training. <br />3.Instructor: Manufacturer's authorized representative. <br />4.Location: At project site. <br />C.Coordinate with related generator demonstration and training as specified in Section 26 32 13. <br />3.06 PROTECTION <br />A.Protect installed transfer switches from subsequent construction operations. <br />3.07 MAINTENANCE <br />A.See Section 01 70 00 -Execution and Closeout Requirements​ <br />END OF SECTION 26 36 00 <br />Docusign Envelope ID: DEDB83DA-7916-8AE5-81B0-AA1EA4D56AE9
