<br /> <br /> <br />Project: Orange County Detention Center Lighting Control Change Out. <br />Location: Hillsborough, NC <br />Date: 04/14/2026 <br /> <br />We are pleased to submit the following proposal for your review and consideration for the Lighting control <br />replacement on the above project. The following is a list of Inclusions, Clarifications and Exclusions. <br /> <br />Inclusions and Clarifications: <br /> <br />1. This proposal is based on the current prices for the component building materials. However, the <br />market for building materials is volatile, and sudden price increases could occur. Should there be <br />an increase in the prices of these materials prior to the award of contract, all parties agree to adjust <br />the contract amount accordingly. <br />2. The current pricing is valid for 30 days’ acceptance. <br />3. This proposal is based on working during normal business hours. Monday through Friday, 7am – <br />3:30pm. <br />4. This Proposal includes (1) CX242S242NS, (1) CX242S242NM, (1) FS1-CC. These part numbers <br />represent (2) lighting control panels and (1) day of start-up time. <br />5. This proposal includes the demolition of the existing lighting control panels. The panel cans and <br />the interiors will need to be removed in their entirety. The internal components of the new control <br />panels cannot be installed in the old cans without voiding the warranty of the new components. <br />6. This proposal includes the complete installation of the new lighting control panels, the re- <br />installation of branch conductors into the new panels, and the re-termination of those branch <br />conductors onto new relays. <br />7. This proposal includes start-up for the new lighting control system, performed by the manufacturer. <br />8. This proposal includes hours for troubleshooting branch circuitry in case issues arise when line <br />voltage is re-applied to those branch conductors. <br />9. This proposal DOES NOT cover any work related to the security section of the lighting control <br />panels. BDE will not un-terminate, remove, re-install, or re-terminate any security conductors. <br />10. Prior to the start of work coordination between BDE, Orange County, the start-up team, and the <br />security contractor will need to be scheduled so that all parties can be present during the duration <br />of the project. <br />11. Unless sudden market increases are made, this proposal is valid for 30 days. <br />12.
