Article 2: Procedures <br /> Section 2.14: Minor Subdivisions <br /> of any changes to the application made by the applicant as a <br /> result of the meeting. <br /> (q) The NIM report and associated materials shall be submitted prior to <br /> preliminary plat approval. <br /> (B) Final Plat <br /> (1) Application Requirements <br /> (a) Applications shall be submitted in accordance with this Ordinance, <br /> including Sections 2.2 and 7.13. <br /> (b) Applications shall include: <br /> (i) One electronic copy of the Final Plat; <br /> (ii) Required plans per Article 6, including, but not limited to, a <br /> T Landscaping Plan and Stormwater Management Plan; and <br /> (iii) Required ancillary documents prepared in accordance with <br /> Article 7 of this Ordinance.? <br /> (2) Review and Action <br /> (a) The Planning Director shall determine if the plat and application conform <br /> with all applicable regulations, as reflected in the DAC review comments. <br /> (b) The Planning Director may submit copies of the Final Plat application <br /> and accompanying material to other officials and agencies, including <br /> DAC representatives, for review and comment. <br /> (c) If the submitted plat meets the subdivision criteria of Article 7 and <br /> T applicable development standards, the plat shall be approved. <br /> (i) If the application is denied, the Planning Director shall write to <br /> the applicant detailing the reasons for denial as a regulated <br /> minor subdivision.$ <br /> (d) Performance Guarantees shall be reviewed in accordance with the <br /> provisions of Section 2.27 of this Ordinance. <br /> (3) Action Subsequent to Approval <br /> (a) The applicant shall submit a mylar original of the Final Plat to the <br /> Planning Director for signature within one year of Final Plat approval. <br /> (i) The Planning Director may grant an extension of this time limit <br /> by one year from the original date of expiration if the applicant <br /> files an extension request.2 <br /> (b) The approved plat and any associated documents must be recorded <br /> within 90 calendar days after the Planning Director's signature, or the <br /> approval shall be determined to be void and all materials will be required <br /> to be resubmitted. <br /> (i) The Planning Director may extend the recordation deadline upon <br /> request by the applicant that they are unable to meet the <br /> deadline for reasons beyond their control. <br /> Updated to reflect contemporary standards and expectations <br /> $Approval/denial language to be consistent throughout processes. <br /> s Provide consistency throughout UDO <br /> Orange County, North Carolina—Unified Development Ordinance Page 2-43 <br />
