ORANGE COUNTY ABC BOARD <br /> Proposed Meeting Minutes <br /> Thursday April 9, 2026, 2:00pm <br /> Location: 601 Valley Forge Road Hillsborough, NC 27278 <br /> Scheduled attendees: <br /> Judson Williamson, Board Chair Ron McCoy, Finance Officer <br /> Melvin Green III, Vice Chair Julie Mebane, Board Secretary <br /> Mike Zito, Member-ABSENT Rhonda Ashe, Human Recourses <br /> Timothy Feeney, Member <br /> Jennifer Sykes, Member <br /> Earl McKee, BOCC Liaison-ABSENT <br /> Visitor(s): <br /> Chris Willett- Board Attorney <br /> Nancy Gooch <br /> Stephen Straus & Chappell Carter- Developmental Associates-VIA ZOOM <br /> Call to order: at 2:00 pm, a quorum was present and Mr. Williamson, Board Chairman, called <br /> the Board meeting to Order. <br /> Approval of the Open Meeting Agenda: Mr. Green made a motion to approve the agenda, Dr: <br /> Feeney seconded the motion and the vote carried. <br /> Developmental Associates: Stephan Straus and Chappell Carter went over the procedures their <br /> company conducts when filling a management position. The board got the chance to ask <br /> questions about how things would be conducted should we hire the firm to fill our GM position. <br /> Management Updates: <br /> Continued Thursday Meetings: A discussion was held about keeping every Thursday at <br /> 2:00prn on the schedule for the Board to meet.Mr. Green made a motion to approve the <br /> meeting schedule, Dr: Feeney seconded the motion and the vote carried <br /> Real Estate Update: Jenn Sykes has met with Summit Engineers and the NCDOT in regards to <br /> the property update. Ms. Sykes has another meeting scheduled tomorrow and will fill the board <br /> in next week with updates from the NCDOT. <br />
