28 <br /> H I GAR <br /> Amelia County,Virgnia <br /> Josh was responsible for the entire review of assessment practices and the sales ratio <br /> study relating to their 2023 Reassessment. <br /> Cook County, Illinois <br /> Josh led a team which completed a commercial valuation practices and statistical audit <br /> in 2024. This included a detailed review of vertical inequity measures, as this is an <br /> important issue locally in Chicago. It also included a complete review of their <br /> commercial valuation practices, appeals procedures, and sales validation procedures. <br /> Mecklenburg County, North Carolina <br /> Josh performed a sales ratio study and detailed statistical analysis of the then- <br /> controversial 2011 Reassessment, including an analysis of the secondary valuation work <br /> performed by Pearson's Appraisal Service. This culminated in a presentation before the <br /> County Board of Supervisors. <br /> Wales, United Kingdom <br /> Josh completed this audit as a part of the IAAO team in 2024, with his primary area of <br /> responsibility being a detailed review of their residential valuation models and then a <br /> sales ratio study of the resulting values. <br /> Washington, DC <br /> Josh completed this audit of commercial properties as a part of the IAAO team in 2021. <br /> His primary area of responsibility was a sales ratio study, a review of office procedures <br /> and timelines, a review of staffing, and a review of commercial valuation models. <br /> Municipal Property Assessment Corporation, Ontario <br /> Josh completed this audit as a member of the IPTI team (2016), with his primary area <br /> of responsibility being the sales ratio study. <br /> In particular, the Cook County project report is linked here: <br /> cookcountyil gov/sites/g/files/ywwepo161/filesldocuments/2024-12/12 11 2024 - <br /> Commercial Valuation Cook County Study.pdf as evidence of the level of work product <br /> that should be expected.
