These tax rates are <br /> managed and set by the Orange County Government during their annual budget adoption. The <br /> first rate to consider is the property tax rate (direct tax). The property rate is levied per $100 of <br /> assessed value of the property. It is the primary revenue source for the County comprising of <br /> over 70% of revenues in the General Fund.
