NORTH CAROLINA <br />COUNTY OF ORANGE <br />LEASE AGREEMENT RENEWAL <br />WHEREAS, a lease agreement was made and entered into as of the 21st day of December 1987 by and between Orange <br />County, hereinafter referred to as the County, and John Thomas Walker and Martha Latta Walker, hereinafter referred to <br />as the Owner, for property on Walnut Grove Church Road to be used as a solid waste collection site. <br />WHEREAS, the County and the Owner wish to renew the lease agreement as amended; <br />NOW THEREFORE, the County and the Owner mutually agree to the following: <br />1. Section 2 "The Lease", shall be modified to read as follows: <br />"The lease renewal will commence on July 1, 2003 and will continue through June 30, 2008, excepting <br />either the Owner or County may terminate the lease upon giving ninety days (90) written notice to the <br />other. County shall pay to Owner rent in the amount of $300 per month, for. each and every month of the <br />term of this lease, payable on or before the first day of each month of the lease term." <br />2.
