OCEDaedga 12-25 <br /> <br /> <br />Information to be included in Step 2: <br /> <br />Notify the grantee that they must come into immediate compliance <br />Notify the grantee that failure to comply within 10 business days will result in further action <br />Notify the grantee that further action may involve reporting to law enforcement where fraudulent activity is <br />suspected or collection litigation for all other situations <br /> <br /> <br />Step 3: <br /> <br />Notify law enforcement where fraudulent activity is suspected. <br /> <br />For all other situations notify the County Attorney’s office possible collection litigation. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Exhibit B <br /> <br />Additional Terms <br /> <br />The Grant Recipient agrees to cooperate in the promotion of their project to the benefit of other farm-related <br />businesses in Orange County by allowing tours of, or presentations about, the project by associated entities <br />such as Agricultural Extension, Orange County Economic Development, local educational institutions, or <br />other non-profit groups who promote development of the local agriculture economy. This will be limited to <br />two per year up to five years from the date of award or as otherwise agreed to by the Recipient and Orange <br />County Economic Development Office. <br />Exhibit C <br /> <br />Additional Information <br /> <br />Use of Funds: $10,000 for new shipping containers for storage, concrete, roofing materials, etc. <br /> <br />Purpose: We would like grant funding to expand our existing shipping container building structure. We are <br />requesting funds to help us purchase 3 more shipping containers (one 40' container and two 20' containers), <br />gravel for the base, and materials for roofs to be built in between for additional covered space. We will be <br />placing these containers next to our existing containers which will double our current space. We plan to turn <br />one of the 20' containers into a large brooder for baby chicks. We raise around 13 batches of either chickens, <br />turkeys, or ducks per year totaling around 2500 birds and we have out grown our current brooder. Both <br />brooders will still be used in cases where we need multiple batches of birds simultaneously. The second 20' <br />container will be built out as a farm office and business related storage. The 40' container will be used as <br />additional miscellaneous storage and for additional chest freezers. Each container, new and existing, will be <br />placed roughly 14' apart and we will add lean to style roof structures to bridge the gaps. This will provide <br />well needed covered space on the farm to organize and store all of our farm items such as poultry crates, <br />waterers, feeders, and garden supplies such as t posts, landscape fabrics, hoops, row covers, harvest bins, <br />etc. We've identified covered storage as a critically important necessity on our farm. We have supplies and <br />equipment depreciating at a faster rate then needed due to not enough covered storage space.
