4 <br /> 1 Ashley Ownbey explained that the 10 goals drove the creation of the future land use map, which <br /> 2 was amended on March 9th with a small parcel change in western Alamance County. The place types <br /> 3 were categorized as functional, open space, residential, mixed use, and commercial and employment. <br /> 4 She explained that three different scenarios had been presented to the public before arriving at the final <br /> 5 combination approach. <br /> 6 Commissioner Bedford asked what Mebane's primary water source is. <br /> 7 Ashley Ownbey said Mebane's water comes from the Graham-Mebane Lake. <br /> 8 Ashley Ownbey noted that most of Mebane's downtown was in Alamance County, while the city <br /> 9 worked to connect different neighborhoods to downtown and parks, with Lake Michael being the most <br /> 10 prominent park in Orange County.
