Township Park and Educational Campus which
will be located near the intersection of Eubanks Road and Old N.C. 86. The Master Plan will
address co-location of the educational campus and park, and serve to provide for a "seamless
transition" between school facilities and park functions wherever possible within the framework
of the pre-concept plan, guiding principles and other direction provided from the Board of
County Commissioners. The Board of County Commissioners will, via a separate process,
address the operation and maintenance responsibilities of the park. The Work Group will
coordinate with other schools-oriented committees working on related subjects. The intent of
the Master Plan process is to comprehensively plan the entire site, while recognizing that some
flexibility will likely be needed to address long-term school facility and other needs that may not
yet be apparent.
