The <br />food waste is composted and applied to community gardens to augment the <br />soil and grow food for low-income communities. Each neighborhood/church <br />has a team leader who will communicate with residents/congregants about <br />the program. <br />Our ultimate goal is to create a strong foundation for a food waste <br />collection program implemented county-wide. <br />B2d.
