Only an attorney can perform <br />certain functions essential to the program. The hourly rate of $90.00 remains unchanged and <br />66 percent of the hourly charges are reimbursed through Federal Financial Participation (FFP) <br />The contract also contains a charge of $300 per month for the work of a legal assistant who <br />manages court-related administrative duties. <br />The firm provides representation for an average of 170 cases per month. <br />FINANCIAL IMPACT: The 2003-2004 budget request is $35,500. The County's cost after <br />Federal Financial Participation (FFP) will be $10,846. <br />RECOMMENDATION(S): The Manager recommends that the Board approve the contract and <br />authorize the Chair to sign. <br />
