Box 8181 <br />Hillsborough NC 27278 <br />Dear Chair Brown: <br />Subject: Board Reappointments <br />There are four members of the Advisory Board on Aging with upcoming term expirations in June <br />this year. <br />They are: <br />a) Jennie Capparella, Carrboro seat, serving in an unexpired term to expire June 30, 2003; <br />b) Mariah McPherson, At-Large seat, serving a first full term to expire June 30, 2003 <br />c) Mildred Council, At-Large seat, serving a first full term to expire Junne 30, 2003; and <br />d) Marvin Block, Chapel Hill seat, serving a first full term to expire June 30, 2003. <br />Ms. Capparella and Mr. Block do not desire to be reappointed to the Advisory Board on Aging, <br />and the Board is actively seeking folks to take their place. <br />Ms. Mariah McPherson and Ms. Mildred Council have expressed interest in being reappointed <br />to the Advisory Board on Aging and they both have very good attendance and participation on <br />the Board. <br />The Advisory Board on Aging therefore respectfully requests that Ms. McPherson and Ms. <br />Council be appointed for second terms on the Advisory Board on Aging. <br />Thank you for your consideration of the reappointment of Ms. Mildred Council and Ms. Mariah <br />McPherson. <br />Sincerely, <br />Jerry M.
