"Budget to Actual Comparison FY 2026" (Attachment"Page 5"): <br /> With two-thirds of the fiscal year complete, approximately 33.33% of budgeted funds should <br /> remain. Year-to-date revenues ($19,774,017)were-2.05%below expectations. <br /> With 35.52% of allocated funds remaining, payroll-related expenses were approximately -2.19% <br /> below projections. Total operating costs (30.06% remaining) were +3.57% above those budgeted, due to <br /> increases in travel expenses,professional services and maintenance services. <br /> Budgeted revenues and expenses will be reconciled and adjusted as needed in a year-end <br /> amendment in June. <br /> 4. "Comparative Statement of Monthly/Year-to-Date Retail Sales by Store" <br /> (Attachment"Page 611): <br /> Retail sales decreased in all stores, with Store 005 (Meadowmont) posting the greatest decline <br /> (414,768), followed by Store 003 (Chapel Hill North) (-$13,738) and Store 004 (Mebane) (-$11,765). <br /> LBD sales increased+$8,372 at Store 007 (Carrboro), followed by Store 003 (Chapel Hill North) <br /> ($6,676) and Store 010 (Oakdale) ($5,418). <br /> Consumption for the month, measured by the number of bottles sold (141,500)was down slightly, <br /> -482 (-0.34%). Retail sales decreased by -2815 bottles, although LBD sales increased by 2,333 bottles. <br /> Total sales for the fiscal year($19,773,282)decreased -$800,723 (-4.05°/u). <br /> 5. NC Statewide Report of Spirituous Liquor Sales (Attachment "Page 711): <br /> Twenty-five ABC boards had sales greater than$1 million in the month of February.The total sales <br /> volume for these boards ($128,748,725)accounted for 70.21%of all liquor sales in the state. The average <br /> sales variance for these top performing boards was -3.30%. Of the top boards, only Johnston County <br /> (+4.84%) and Moore County (+4.36%) were up substantially. Catawba County (+0.59%) and Wayne <br /> County (+0.37%)had modest gains. <br /> For all 171 boards in the state,the average sales variance was a decline of-3.24%from the previous <br /> year. <br /> Action Requested: <br /> 1.
