Health Insurance Policy: <br /> Current policy: <br /> A group health insurance plan is offered to all regular full-time employees <br /> effective on the first day of the month subsequent to date of hire with the Orange <br /> County ABC Board. Group health insurance is provided without charge for the <br /> employee only. Dependent coverage is available and must be paid through <br /> payroll deductions. The board will contribute $100 to dependent coverage. <br /> Dependent coverage is not automatic; employees must ensure the application is <br /> properly completed and submitted to the Administrative Manager. The employee <br /> is also responsible for requesting changes of dependents resulting from <br /> marriage, divorce, adoption,new born babies, dependents not covered because <br /> of age requirements, etc. <br /> Proposed policy: <br /> A group health insurance plan is offered to all regular full-time employees <br /> effective on the first day of the month subsequent to date of hire with the Orange <br /> County ABC Board. Mr. Zito made a motion to approve the update to the Health Insurance <br /> policy; Ms. Carter seconded the motion and the vote carried. <br /> Board Comments: <br /> Mr. Williamson thanked the staff for all of their hard work.
