b. Board Comments- Ms. Carter thanked the staff for having the vision to keep things <br /> running smoothly on a day-to-day basis. Mr. Williamson also thanked the staff for their <br /> excellent work in putting the new retention policy together. He also expressed his enjoyment <br /> of conducting the board member interviews and thanked everyone for their flexibility. Mr. <br /> Zito recommended trying to recruit new candidates for the next board opening. Mr. Burns <br /> stated that he would like to find out where we are at with the board member handbook that <br /> had been started previously. Mr. Williamson also stated that the amount of work that the <br /> staff puts in speaks volumes for itself. Ms. Fowler thanked the staff for always trying to be <br /> proactive and Ms. Carter agreed. Ms. Fowler was also thankful that we found a new board <br /> member so quickly. Mr. Burns was very impressed with how the Southern Village Ribbon <br /> Cutting turned out and thanked everyone for making it a success. Mr. Burns, Mr. Zito and <br /> Mr. Williamson mentioned that the Board needs to show the store employees support by <br /> visiting each store when possible.
