Law Enforcement Reports <br /> Law enforcement reports will be available at the meeting. <br /> 2. Old Nick Williams Distillery Tour <br /> 25 employees are scheduled to go to Old Nick Williams in Winston Salem on <br /> Sept 18,19. The group will also be trying Rum barrels and voting on a favorite <br /> single barrel to be sold in the stores. <br /> 3. Board Member Compensation <br /> Current Board Member compensation was approved by the BOCC July 1, <br /> 2004.The NC General statute allows for the amount to be higher but the current <br /> was previously approved by the BOCC and therefore should be again brought to <br /> them for approval. A proposal could be sent to the BOCC at any time but should <br /> probably also involve a discussion. Staff can provide more details and context if it <br /> is desired to move forward to the BOCC. <br /> 4. Tequila Distillery Trip <br /> The GM will be travelling to Guadalajara Mexico the first week of October with <br /> the GM from Durham and reps from RNDC (plus security) for visits to Herradura, <br /> Partida and Corralejo. The purpose of the trip is to pick out single barrel tequilas <br /> at one or more of the distilleries and learn more about the tequila process and <br /> brands. The barrels should arrive spring 2025 in time for Cinco de mayo. <br /> 5. Property Discussion <br /> Specifics will be discussed in closed session with our realtor. <br /> Page 1 of 1 pages <br />
