Likewise, the balance of total operating expenses (68.29%) was <br /> approximately 1.62%below those projected. <br /> Although $126,284 remained in allocated funds for capital purchases, the warehouse truck <br /> was expected to be delivered in November. Remaining funds for security cameras and capital <br /> expenses for new racking in the warehouse and additional store expenses will be addressed in a mid- <br /> year budget amendment. <br /> 4. Attachment G'D" Comparative Statement of Monthly/Year-to-Date Retail Sales by Store <br /> (Attachment"Page 6"): <br /> Retail store sales for October($2,248,533)were up$102,446(4.77%)from the previous year. <br /> Ram's Plaza(2)had the greatest increase(+$33,016, 8.51%), followed by Oakdale (10),up $15,566 <br /> (4.98%) and Mebane (4),up 14,690 (5.58%). Carrboro (7)was down slightly, -$483 (413%). <br /> Total LBD sales for the month($466,401)were down-$7,881 (-1.66%)with Rain's Plaza(2) <br /> down significantly (-$43,876, -15.09%). Carrboro (7) LBD sales increased $13,673 (16.00%)while <br /> Oakdale (10)LBD was up $10,577 (14.59%). <br /> Total bottles sold in October(176,924)were down -525 (-0.30%). <br /> Total retail store sales for the year-to-date ($8,229,038)were down -$98,303 (-1.18%)while <br /> LBD sales ($1,533,503)were down-$151,990 (402%). <br /> 5. NC Statewide Report of Spirituous Liquor Sales (Attachment"Page 7): <br /> 28 boards (16.18%of all boards in the state)boasted sales greater than$1 million in <br /> October; nearly half of those boards (13)had sales less than$2 million. Orange County slipped one <br /> place to 121 position with total liquor sales of$2,714,934,up 3.61%. Sales for the 28 boards were <br /> up an average of 6.76% <br /> Total statewide sales of liquor were$159,733,381, up 5.38%. <br /> Action Requested: <br /> 1. Consent Agenda Item. <br /> 2.
