Attachment `B" Comparative Statement of Monthly and Year-to-Date Retail and Mixed <br /> Beverage Sales Rankings for DECEMBER 2023 (Page 3) <br /> Brief Summary/Explanations: <br /> Comparative Statement of Monthly and Year-to Date Retail/LBD Sales by Store(page 2) <br /> Total retail store sales for December ($3,179,545) decreased 4.37% from the previous year. <br /> Total LBD sales ($405,155) decreased -1.13%. This was due primarily to calendarization: December <br /> 2022 had 27 days of business including five Thursday/Friday/Saturdays with Christmas Day being on <br /> Sunday. December 2023 had 25 days of business with Christmas Day on Monday. <br /> Store 004(Mebane)established a new record-high sales day on the Saturday before Christmas: <br /> $86,593. <br /> The total number of bottles sold (206,571) decreased -5.37%, although LBD bottles (15,223) <br /> increased 2.44%. <br /> At mid-year, year-to-date store sales ($13,968,903) decreased slightly (403%) while LBD <br /> sales ($2,524,978) increased 1.45%. <br /> Comparative Monthly and Retail/LBD Sales by Store Rankings (page 3) <br /> Oakdale (10)ranked first in retail store sales with $519,082,followed closely by Carrboro (7) <br /> with $518,302. Although Ram's Plaza(2) slipped to third place with retail sales of$513,493,the <br /> store led all LBD transactions with sales of$212,337. <br /> Action Requested: <br /> 1.
