Orange County ABC Board <br /> { Open Meeting Board Minutes <br /> Tuesday April 19,2022 <br /> 6 Management Updates: <br /> 1 Law Enforcement Reports:This report is required by the NCABC. <br /> 2 Southern Village: The upfit is all being done by the landlord except for the flooring in the sales <br /> area and the additional data cabling for the registers and security.Glass for the windows is currently <br /> on back order and pushing back the opening until August 2022 <br /> 3 Mebane Project Timeline: The store construction started on January 3,2022,corresponding with <br /> the steel production and delivery schedule.The steel has been delivered and the concrete pad was <br /> poured. A crane will be moved on site and store deliveries to the current store will be through the <br /> front door for about two weeks.Store completion is expected in late 2022. <br /> A County Commissioners Meeting:The Board Chairman and General Manager attended the Orange <br /> County Commissioner meeting. An approval was needed for a new salary cap for the General <br /> Managers to help address compression in the future. The Orange County Board of Commissioners <br /> approved this agenda item and an increase to the salary cap. <br /> 5 Performance Audit: Staff answered questions from the board and gave feedback pertaining to the <br /> performance audit. <br /> 7 2022-2023 Alcohol Rehabilitation and Education Grant Applications were distributed to all Board <br /> members.
