Orange County ABC Board <br /> Open Meeting Board Minutes <br /> Tuesday October 19,2021 <br /> 5 Southern Village:The ABC Commission approved a new location at Southern Village on October <br /> 13,2021.The timeline for completion and opening is April-June 2022, <br /> 6 Mebane Project Timeline: Mr. Dubois stated that the start date on the Mebane project will most <br /> likely be December 2021.Steel will arrive around March 2022.The plan is to open the new Mebane <br /> location by the Fall of 2022. <br /> 5 Return to Work Policy: Our new Workman's Compensation carrier is recommending us to adopt a <br /> return-to-work program. We created a program that will follow guidelines from our carrier and will amend <br /> our current Workman's Compensation Policy. Discussion was held. A Final draft will be presented in the <br /> November 2021 Board Meeting. <br /> 6. Board Comments:Board members thanked stafffor their hard work. Ms. Carter and Mr. Williamson <br /> stated the new online ordering procedures suggested by the state may be a good idea and to keep the Board <br /> up to date on this progress.Mr.Zito asked ff Board meetings could start at 10:00am. The Board agreed to <br /> discuss the change in limes with all Board members.Mr.Burns stated that the new Southern Village store <br /> location Is a good move for the Board. He also stated he has partnered with Orange Partnership,Orange <br /> County Schools,and the Orange County Health Department for a presentatlon December 811 on underage <br /> and binge drinking. <br /> At 9.10am, Ms. Carter made a motion to adjourn, Mr. Williamson seconded the motion and the vote <br /> carried. <br /> Meeting adjourned. <br /> Chair's Signature and ate BOA Secretary's Signature and Date <br /> Open Session 10/19/2021 Page 2 of 2 <br />
