11 <br /> Adult Protective Services in North Carolina: Screening Reports <br /> For an Adult Protective Services report to be accepted or "screened in", it must <br /> meet all the following requirements by statute: <br /> 1 . Is the adult alleged to be disabled? <br /> 2. Is the adult alleged to be abused, neglected, or exploited? <br /> 3.
