Note that the Stage is to be built as part of the cafeteria. The State standards for physical education do not specify the amount of square footage for physical education. The Standards do require a minimum court area for the gymnasium of least 42 feet by 74 feet with six feet on each side of the court and eight feet on each end of the court for safety.
