Orange County Planning Board —Appointments Discussion <br /> The Board discussed appointments to the Economic Development Advisory Board. <br /> BACKGROUND: The Planning Board studies Orange County and the surrounding areas to <br /> determine objectives in the development of the County. It prepares and recommends plans to <br /> achieve that development, including the suggestion of policies, ordinances, and procedures. It <br /> reviews development applications and makes recommendations to the Board of Commissioners. <br /> The Board of County Commissioners appoints all twelve (12) members. <br /> The Planning Board does not make recommendations for appointments. <br /> The following individuals and positions are presented for Board consideration: <br />
