I believe one of my strengths is my ability to cross-pollinate: to <br /> communicate and collaborate with diverse groups and make connections between unlikely <br /> ideas. I am accustomed to wearing many different hats, and I bring a dual MFA/ MBA <br /> perspective to the OCAC, balancing creative vision with business sense to strengthen our art/ <br /> creative community in Orange County. <br /> I have ties to our local Spanish-speaking community. I have led multi-year, community-based <br /> art projects (Truth + Tamales; Dibujando Nuestro Pueblo; Los Arbolitos) in partnership with <br /> FPG BilingA'/4e and El Centro Hispano. I am fluent in Spanish (though not a native speaker).
