I have volunteered with <br /> Rogers Road Community Center since 2021, as the Advocate Church has jointly hosted <br /> vaccine clinics and also 5 OC Tax Office workshops in 2022 for community assistance <br /> with property tax relief programs and education regarding appeals. I also volunteer with <br /> Rena's annual Unity in Community event and Back to School Bash, summer camps, <br /> monthly food drives and OC Justice United organizing. Then present as a vol for the 8 <br /> months of meetings for the Greene Tract affordable housing development planning with <br /> OC and both Chapel Hill, Carrboro. A sewer project together with University Presbyterian <br /> Church recently installed 3 important new sewer connections - in response to the <br /> concerns of local residents for healthy and safe water. I have been involved with assisting <br /> community members to obtain property tax relief and apply for property tax appeals since <br /> 2022 and also recently attended numerous 2025 Property Tax Workshops put on by the <br /> NC Housing Coalition throughout the Triangle.
