26
Page 3 of 3 Kelly Mills
I grew up in rural West Virginia, at the heart of the opioid epidemic. Throughout my childhood,
the devastating effects of opioid abuse impacted my family, schools, and community. This has
fueled my passion for addressing the issue, both in Orange County and beyond. I am deeply
committed to the belief that there is hope for those affected by opioid abuse, and working
toward a future free from it is one of my life's primary goals.
How would your particpation on this board contribute to the diversity of viewpoints?
My background growing up in West Virginia, where the opioid epidemic has deeply affected my
family and community, gives me a unique perspective to contribute to Advisory Committee
discussions. Additionally, as a representative of younger voices, who are certainly impacted by
the epidemic but often do not participate in conversations about it, I would be honored to bring
these perspectives to the table.
Do you have any personal or business interest(s)that could create a conflict of interest
(either real or perceived) if you are appointed to this board?
Boards/Commissions appointments:
Other Comments:
This application was current on: 6/16/2025 11:46:25 AM Date Printed: 6/18/2025
