Riley Surveying, P.A. <br />3326 Durham Chapel Hill Blvd. Suite B-100 <br /> Durham, North Carolina 27707 <br /> <br />AN AGREEMENT <br />FOR THE PROVISION <br />OF LIMITED <br />PROFESSIONAL SERVICES <br /> <br />DATE: January 22, 2026 <br /> <br />CLIENT: County of Orange <br /> 306 Revere Road, Suite A102 <br /> Hillsborough, NC 27278 <br /> Attn: Alan Dorman, Director Asset Management Services <br /> <br /> <br />PROJECT NAME/LOCATION: Link Building <br /> Boundary/Topographic Survey <br /> Hillsborough, NC <br /> <br />SCOPE AND EXTENT OF SERVICES: Deed research, field measurements, computations and <br />drafting necessarty to perform the following Tasks: <br /> <br />Task A: Boundary/Topographic Survey <br />Field survey and mapping necessary to prepare a Boundary/Topographic Survey for a portion of the <br />property located at 144 E Margaret Lane (PIN 9874-15-3612) as shown on sketch provided by client. <br />This survey shall accurately depict the following: property lines, street rights-of-way, easements as <br />found in public record, one foot contour interval, buildings, curbs, pavements, trees in open areas 8” <br />or larger, treelines, water features and associated buffers, above ground utilities, storm and sewer <br />structures with rim/invert/pipe size and material, building finished floors, wetlands flags(by others) if <br />present during the course of the survey, roof leaders w/ associated piping if discernable and any <br />other observable feature which may impact site design. This survey shall conform in all respects with <br />21 NCAC 56 (NC Surveying Standards). <br /> <br />Task A Fixed Fee: $18,500.00 <br /> <br />Task B: Level B SUE Utility Location <br />Sub-consultant will utilize both Electromagnetic (EM) and Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) <br />equipment to designate utilities and identify their horizontal locations within the project-specific area <br />on the attached exhibit. Utilities will be designated and marked using APWA guideline with marking <br />paint and/or pin flags.
